LOCATION: Williston, VT
REPORTS TO: Operations Officer Gordon’s Window Decor is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate has proven experience with a
broad range of financial and accounting tasks, including, but not limited to, bookkeeping, financial reporting, credit & collections, and financial analysis. Key Duties: - Total responsibility for AR, A, and monthly and year end financial reports.
- Perform a variety of daily and monthly general ledger procedures and functions related to sales, inventories, cost of sales and operating expenses.
- Manage checking accounts, bank reconciliations and wire transfers
- Maintain the cash flow report
- Assist in the development of the annual budget and report on our progress monthly.
- Analyze Financial Data
- Assist in setting Costs and Operations benchmarks, tracking performance and evaluating data provided
- Create and analyze performance reports
- Ability to conceptualize and design spreadsheets using complex formulas, links and other analytical
- tools.
- Assist with and carry out other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelor or Associate’s Degree in Accounting.
- Strong detailed analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Able to successfully work independently in a fast paced environment
- Strong Math and computer skills – Excel skills a must.
- Minimum three years related proven experience
- Experience with manufacturing, Bill of Material costing, Inventory preferred.
- Experience with both Quick Books, and an industry specific on-line comprehensive, fully integrated corporate software package preferred
