ComforTrack Plus Energy Saving Sidetrack Insulation System qualifies for Federal Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency under the insulation category. The ComforTrack Plus Energy Saving Sidetrack Insulation System is an Eligible Building Envelope Component and meets the
requirements for the Non business Energy Credit under Section 25C of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009. The ComforTrack Plus Insulation System is specifically and primarily designed to reduce heat loss or gain in a house. Homeowners should consult their tax advisor or www.irs.gov to determine whether they qualify for income tax
credits.
To learn more about the Federal Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency, visit EnergyStar.gov. The tax credit applies to the cost of the sidetrack system and does not apply to installation. Unlike a tax deduction which reduces the amount of income subject to tax, a tax credit directly reduces the amount of income tax you have to pay. Be sure to consult your tax advisor with further questions regarding the tax credit. |
